Pierre Passebon presents the photography exhibition “Paris au fil de la Mode” as seen by Willy Maywald during the years when fashion emerged from the seclusion of couture salons and took to the streets.
He photographs, among other things, the creations of Christian Dior, Jacques Fath, Coco Chanel, and others by the young Pierre Cardin. But rather than confining the models to the controlled environment of the studio, he brings them to the masses in the city or showcases them in museums.
