Ivan Terestchenko

Sculptor

Ivan Terestchenko was born in London in 1958.

Franco-British photographer Ivan Terestchenko began his career as a painter. He published his first photographs in Vogue magazine in 1989, before rapidly collaborating with numerous magazines around the world, including the famous The World of Interiors.

Over the years, Ivan Terestchenko has photographed the homes of numerous personalities from the worlds of art and fashion. In 2009, a year after Yves Saint Laurent’s death, he photographed the homes of the fashion designer and Pierre Bergé for Robert Murphy’s book “The Secret Paradises of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé”.

In 2013, *Intérieurs Couture* gave a glimpse into the private lives of the world’s leading fashion designers.

For his third exhibition at Galerie du Passage, Ivan Terestchenko continues his journey to the origins of myth.

After the humor of his surfers of yesteryear and the raw power of his Etruscan-inspired terracotta sculptures, the artist has set up his studio facing the sea.

This new exhibition features tempera painting, where Greek divinities and schools of fish come to life in a timeless play of colors.

“I like the randomness and imprecision,” says Ivan.

This marine bestiary leaves the canvas and settles on a series of original decorative objects, creating a fluid dialogue between visual art and ornamentation.

From Tuscany to the Mediterranean, Ivan Terestchenko continues to reinterpret Antiquity with modern elegance and radiant poetry.

Exhibition: Ivan Terestchenko – Paintings and ceramics: “Aqua, Astra, Anima”, March 18 – April 25, 2026.
