Anne and Vincent Corbière

Sculptor
Vincent used to make musical instruments before he started designing furniture. In 1993, he showed his designs to Pierre Passebon, who was immediately won over. First exhibition and first commissions. For her part, Anne first became interested in theatrical costumes, before designing fabrics for haute couture, then for decoration. She worked on Peter Brook’s production of Mahabharata, then assisted Christian Lacroix.
The houses of Dior and Chanel then called on her. In 1998, for a second exhibition at Pierre Passebon, Vincent used a metallic fabric designed by Anne as the lampshade for one of his lamps. The marriage was a success, and marked the beginning of a creative partnership.
In 2006, the duo exhibited a series of furniture pieces they had designed together. Such was their success with interior designers that they have since been commissioned by Jacques Grange, Peter Marino, Chahan Minassian and Muriel Brandolini, without finding the time to produce their own pieces…
